Rental agreement

1Use

Personal use only; do not sublease or lend the vehicle. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs or similar substances. Wear a helmet at all times and comply with traffic laws.

Permitted area: Tulum and a ~15 km radius (nearby cenotes included). Do not leave the Tulum area or the state of Quintana Roo.

2Damages

The client assumes full responsibility (100%) for any damage, loss or theft of the vehicle: accidents, falls, mechanical damage from misuse, total or partial theft. No deductible or partial coverage applies.

3Security deposit

Amount: 200 USD or 4,000 MXN, in cash.

If paid by bank transfer or payment link, a 4% surcharge applies (payment platform fee, non-refundable).

Returned at the end of the rental if the vehicle is handed back with no damage or missing parts and no breaches of this agreement.

4Payment methods

Cash in pesos · Bank transfer within Mexico (no fee) · Card via payment link (+4%).

Cash in US dollars: at the exchange rate of local Tulum exchange houses.

Payment link: Google exchange rate + 4%.

5Fines and violations

The client is responsible for all fines, violations or penalties during the rental period.

6Additional charges

Negligence may result in additional charges. Example: roadside assistance for running out of fuel, 300 MXN.

7Return

The vehicle is returned at the agreed time and in reasonable condition. Late returns may result in additional charges.

8Disclaimer of liability

Nomad Humans is not responsible for accidents, injuries, personal damage or death resulting from use of the vehicle. The client assumes all associated risks.
